I haven't taken a camera w/me to Vegas since I was there w/my Mom. I leave the photos to others and as you are aware, I'm not a fan of being in photos, so I respect anyone who prefers not to be in them... w/the exception of Christy for some reason??? I took the camera to show Vegas to my Son & DIL, who haven't been and can't quite understand why I go alone to meet people I met on the Internet!

Vegas to Philadelphia to Manchester

After a very enjoyable stay in Vegas, we left PH early Sunday morning for Philadelphia. The flight was on time and although full was very comfortable. We were in aisle 7 on a US Airways Airbus 320. The seating was three seats, aisle, and three seats. We were at the exit door so had ample leg room to stretch out. Also with a good tail wind the pilot announced that we would arrive in Philadelphia early.

Our trip to Vegas this year seemed to get split into differing meets with folks coming into town on different days. The mini meet on Monday at the Orleans was excellent and as I have already said, was a pleasant exchange in peaceful surroundings of The Prime Rib Loft. Mini Meet at the Orleans

The mini meet was almost maxed!. With Fiona and myself, were Backspin and Kelly, Manny and Terry and Stan and Patti and Twinkle and Alberta. Plus a couple of co workers of Stan's ( Who unfortunately I didn't get to meet as we were Soooo busy).

It was great fun. A couple of drinks at the poker bar and on to the Prime Rib restaurant.

Stan and Patti are wonderful. A firm handshake from Stan and a little hug from Patti said it all. Nice folks.

Hi! It was an interesting day. It was heavy mist/rain at home and temps in the low 60's, thank God I packed my winter coat as an afterthought. I had a marvelous trip. 3 days at the Venetian. Saw Vegasbabie, Scooby, & Nicole on Friday 8/14 for an early dinner at the Lux. Then we met up with Kamper and his friend for drinks. Great time meeting up with them.
Only got 1 hand pay at the Venetian, but they sure make me feel special.

My friend Alice picked me up Monday & we met up with Stan & Patti at Southpoint. Nice to see you guys!
Monday night we went to Suncoast, met up with Scooby again.

We are wiped out at the moment. Just took Wobblydoggy and his family to the Austin airport a few hours ago. They spent the week here at our home, so are now heading to Los Angeles to pick up an RV rental in which they plan to tour the state before driving to Vegas.

They arrived here Tuesday after touring the New York/Montreal/Toronto areas all last week.

Pete (Wobbly) is as crazy funny as ever, his lady Nikki very nice & gracious, and his 2 year old daughter Isabella...

After Isi and I suffered the hells of shopping on the 87,we arrived eventually in Montreal. How is it a woman can choose 20 or 30 different items, try them on, carry them around and discard them one by one, only to choose 30 more before buying only 2?

Well what can I say "hee hong hee hong" i'm in France or at least France with "language police" Montreal has a far more European feel than any other NA city I have been to and dont they want you to know it....

Mary and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year and wanted to take

This is the 10th year our company has offered a trip
to Vegas for each salesperson and their spouse.
We have stayed at quite a few hotels, but this
was our first time at The Flamingo. I hope we go back every year.
It was great. Location is fantastic. Hotel and Casino were great
except that our room was smoking optional so it did smell a little.
